Allergies
We are a peanut-free environment.
We do use Almond Flour, Bleached flour, eggs, and milk in case you choose to purchase the pastries from us. If you have additional questions about allergies, please contact us before signing up for camp.
No make-up days or refunds available. If your child missed a day, the recorded class will be available for them to watch and work at their own pace.
AGE REQUIREMENTS: The camper must be 8 – 16 years old. (must be 8 years old on January 1st, 2021), Children 8-10 might need adult assistance during camp hours.
TOOLS:
Students must have all the tools mentioned below in the tools list. Mia Cake House offers the tools at a 25% discount when registering for the class. Tools purchased will be shipped with the class supplies (Fondant, icings, etc)
MUST HAVE: Children must have a high-speed internet connection and a computer/tablet. Videoconferencing software installation is required.
BEHAVIOR POLICY
Mia Cake House is a place to enjoy and learn the art of baking and decorating. Each child should follow class rules which include, but are not limited to: respecting themselves, peers, instructors, and volunteers. Our activities are step-by-step classes and children must be able to follow instructions and do as requested.
At Mia Cake House we will not tolerate bullying or defiance toward instructors.
When children choose not to follow any of these rules we will contact the parent/guardian by phone to inform them of the incidence
Class activities require the ability to follow instructions, concentrate, and be seated for periods of 2-3 hours. You as a parent know your child better than anyone to decide if your child will enjoy the activities and follow the rules.

CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that life brings many surprises to us all, and sometimes people must cancel their class reservation. Into each class, we put in a lot of effort, thought, and work. Everything is prepared ahead of time for you and when you sign up for a class you occupy a seat that someone could have booked, as classes have participants’ limitations.
All cancellations/rescheduling requests must be submitted through THIS form.
If you cannot attend the class you may send a substitute student in your place. (Substitute student must meet any prerequisites required.)
Cancellation / Rescheduling Fee schedule:
- Up to 7 days before the class start time: No Fee (unless specified otherwise in class description)
- 7 days – 3 days before the class start time – 20% fee. (unless specified otherwise in class description)
- 3 days – 24 hours before the class – 33% fee (unless specified otherwise in class description)
- Same Day / No Show – If you haven’t notified in advance about not attending the class (No Show) you are not entitled to reschedule or credit
Fees will be deducted from the credit issued to the subscriber. No cash or credit card refunds available in case you cancel your class, only class credit.
Classes might be canceled when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined a day before class starts. If Mia Cake House cancels a class, camp, workshop, the student will have the option to transfer to another class, as long as space is available, or receive a 100% refund.
