Event Location PLANTATION SHOP
In this hands-on homeschool cooking class, students will dive into the art of traditional Italian pasta making. Participants will learn how to prepare fresh semolina dough and hand-shape classic cavatelli pasta using simple tools and techniques.
The class also includes making a rich and comforting butter Parmesan sauce to pair with the freshly made pasta. To complete the experience, students will enjoy a live demonstration of tiramisu, learning about its layers, ingredients, and Italian origins.
This class is fully interactive and focused on skill-building. Students will mix, shape, and cook their own pasta while gaining confidence in the fundamentals of fresh pasta making.
At the end of the class, the pasta they prepared will be cooked and served for everyone to enjoy.

CANCELLATION POLICY
By purchasing a spot in this class you agree and accept the following cancelation policy.
We understand that life brings many surprises to us all, and sometimes people must cancel their class reservation. Into each class we put in a lot of effort, thought and work. Everything is prepared ahead of time for you and when you sign up for a class you occupy a seat that someone could have booked, as classes have participants limitations.
If you cancel your attendance, you are eligible for a class credit based on the schedule below. No refunds are available for class cancelation, only class credit.
All cancellations / rescheduling requests must be submitted through email by replying to your original registration confirmation email.
If you cannot attend the class you may send a substitute student in your place. (Substitute student must meet any prerequisites required.)
Cancellation / Rescheduling Fee schedule:
- Up to 7 days before the class start time: No Fee
- 7 days – 4 days before the class start time – 20% fee.
- 3 days – 24 hours before the class – 33% fee
- Less than 24 Hours before the class / No Show – Unfortunately, No rescheduling or credit options are available, as everything is ready for you.
Credit vouchers expire 120 days after being issued.
Fees will be deducted from credit vouchers (if applicable) that will be sent to students upon class cancellation.
Class credit cannot be used as store credit.
Classes might be canceled when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined a day before class starts. If Mia Cake House cancels a class, camp, or workshop, the student will have the option to transfer to another class, as long as space is available, or receive a 100% refund.
