Master Bakers Summer Camp
Ages 8-14 • Plantation & Deerfield Beach
Our signature baking and decorating camp is perfect for creative kids who love working with their hands. Each week features themed projects, from cupcakes and cookies to French macarons, cake pops, and elaborate cakes.

Campers learn techniques step by step, then use their imagination to design their own creations. Every day includes baking, decorating, and themed projects, and campers take home what they make.

Daily activities include:

  • Cupcake baking & decorating
  • Personal cake creation & design
  • Cookie decorating with fondant
  • French macarons or cake pops
  • Special themed projects
  • Friday Cupcake Wars competition

Activities are designed to challenge and inspire while having tons of fun. Limited spots are available for 8-year-olds to ensure the best experience.

Pro Chefs Cooking Summer Camp
Ages 8-15 • Plantation & Deerfield Beach
A week-long cooking experience where kids learn real kitchen skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Campers cook from scratch each day while learning techniques they can actually use at home. Sessions blend hands-on cooking with practical lessons about ingredients, kitchen safety, and teamwork. This is not a demo class, kids cook, taste, and take pride in what they make.

What campers will experience:

  • Cooking and baking from scratch
  • Age-appropriate knife skills and kitchen safety
  • Measuring, mixing, and following real recipes
  • Sweet and savory projects
  • Confidence, independence, and creativity in the kitchen

Designed for kids who love to cook or want to learn, and enjoy small-group, instructor-led sessions.

All ingredients, tools, and materials are included. Campers enjoy what they make and take home new skills every day.

This summer, Mia Cake House is turning up the heat with our Pro Chefs Cooking Camp – a full week of real kitchen skills, bold flavors, and seriously impressive dishes.

From chopping and sautéing to plating like a pro, your future chef will learn hands-on techniques in a fun, structured, and high-energy environment alongside other kids who love food just as much as they do.

Here’s what the week looks like:

🇲🇽 Day 1 – Mexican Fiesta
We kick things off strong. Campers make fresh salsa and guacamole from scratch, cook their own taco meat, grill quesadillas, and bake a classic tres leches cake, all while learning knife safety and kitchen fundamentals.

🇮🇹 Day 2 – Italian Kitchen
Fresh pasta dough rolled and filled by hand, two sauces built from scratch, and personal pizzas baked to perfection. Plus, twice-baked biscotti to take home.

🇫🇷 Day 3 – French Bistro
Crêpes, chicken fricassée, ratatouille, and real French macarons. Yes, real macarons. Chocolate mousse goes home to chill. This is the day cooking starts to feel like art.

🌏 Day 4 – Asian Street Food
Sushi rolling, dumpling folding, high-heat fried rice, tropical smoothies, and a fast-paced fortune cookie challenge. Teamwork, speed, and a lot of fun.

🇪🇸 Day 5 – Spanish Flavors
The grand finale. Churros with chocolate sauce, paella, Spanish tortilla, gazpacho, and crema catalana finished with a torch brûlée. A full tapas spread and certificate ceremony close out the week.

Frequently Asked Questions

Campers should bring a packed lunch and a small snack for the morning break. We provide an afternoon snack before dismissal. All supplies, tools, and materials are included. Campers take home their creations each day.

Regular camp hours are 9:00am to 3:00pm. Extended hours are available: early drop-off (8:30am-9:00am) and late pick-up (3:15pm-5:00pm) for an additional fee.

Yes. We welcome all skill levels. Our instructors adapt activities to each camper’s ability so everyone learns and has fun.

Master Bakers Summer Camp is designed for ages 8-14. Pro Chefs Cooking Camp is designed for ages 8-15. Availability may vary by location and week.

Campers work on complete projects throughout the day. They bake in the morning, take breaks and lunch, then decorate in the afternoon.

Before April 15: full refund minus $50 processing fee per session.
April 16 – May 15: full refund minus $120 cancellation fee per session.
After May 16: no refunds, but you may transfer your spot to another child.

Session changes are allowed up to 14 days before the session starts (based on availability) with a $20 administrative fee.

Due to the nature of our kitchen and shared equipment, we are not able to accommodate food allergies or provide ingredient substitutions. Campers will regularly work with and consume ingredients such as eggs, milk, wheat, and food colors. Some sessions may also include almond flour (French macarons). Please review this information carefully before registering.

Both locations offer free parking in the shopping plaza. Please walk your child to the entrance for safety.

Yes. Many campers attend multiple weeks. Each week has different themes and projects. A multi-week discount may apply during checkout.
