Using EMA Funds to Register for Mia Cake House Classes
Mia Cake House is an approved Step Up For Students provider, offering a variety of creative baking and decorating classes that qualify as educational enrichment activities. Families can use their EMA (Educational Marketplace Account) funds to register for any of our eligible classes or camps by following the simple steps below.
Step 1: Visit the EMA Marketplace
Go to the EMA Marketplace and log in to your account.
Step 2: Find Mia Cake House
Search for Mia Cake House as a provider. Browse through our enrichment activities and add to your cart the class or camp you would like your child to join.
Step 3: Wait for Your Voucher Code
Once your activity is added to the cart, Mia Cake House will issue a voucher code for your selected class.
Funds are processed approximately 3 hours after they are allocated, so please allow some time to receive your code.
Step 4: Register on Our Website
After receiving your voucher code, visit classes.miacakehouse.com.
Add the desired class to your cart and proceed to checkout.
At checkout, enter your voucher code in the coupon field.
You will not be required to make any payment.
Step 5: Register Additional Students
Only one voucher can be used per checkout.
If you are registering more than one student, please complete a separate reservation for each child using their individual voucher code.

In this hands-on homeschool cooking class, students will learn how to make a classic Italian dish completely from scratch. They will prepare fresh pasta dough, mix and season meatballs, and shape their own pasta using simple techniques.
This class is fully interactive and focused on skill-building, helping students gain confidence in essential kitchen fundamentals while working through each step of the process.
At the end of the class, the food they prepared will be cooked and served for everyone to enjoy.

The workshop includes all the tools, materials, and ingredients required to prepare the pasta and sauce.

Who can enroll in this class?
This class is for children ages 5 – 18 years old.
Children 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult.

CANCELLATION POLICY
By purchasing a spot in this class you agree and accept the following cancelation policy.
We understand that life brings many surprises to us all, and sometimes people must cancel their class reservation. Into each class we put in a lot of effort, thought and work. Everything is prepared ahead of time for you and when you sign up for a class you occupy a seat that someone could have booked, as classes have participants limitations.
If you cancel your attendance, you are eligible for a class credit based on the schedule below. No refunds are available for class cancelation, only class credit.
All cancellations / rescheduling requests must be submitted through email by replying to your original registration confirmation email.
If you cannot attend the class you may send a substitute student in your place. (Substitute student must meet any prerequisites required.)
Cancellation / Rescheduling Fee schedule:
- Up to 7 days before the class start time: No Fee
- 7 days – 4 days before the class start time – 20% fee.
- 3 days – 24 hours before the class – 33% fee
- Less than 24 Hours before the class / No Show – Unfortunately, No rescheduling or credit options are available, as everything is ready for you.
Credit vouchers expire 120 days after being issued.
Fees will be deducted from credit vouchers (if applicable) that will be sent to students upon class cancellation.
Class credit cannot be used as store credit.
Classes might be canceled when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined a day before class starts. If Mia Cake House cancels a class, camp, or workshop, the student will have the option to transfer to another class, as long as space is available, or receive a 100% refund.
